Working Student in Automotive Security (f/m/div.)

About the role

We are looking for a working student to join our automotive security team at ETAS GmbH, a Bosch Group subsidiary. The role involves supporting cybersecurity consultants on research, analysis, concept development, tooling, testing and training.

Key responsibilities

• Research security regulations and standards, potentially in multiple languages.
• Support the implementation of security analyses and develop tailored security concepts.
• Assist in creating tooling solutions for efficient vulnerability management.
• Perform security testing using tools such as GitLeaks to strengthen infrastructure.
• Help design and deliver security training courses, e.g., on the Cyber Resilience Act.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a degree program in IT Security, Computer Science or a related field.
• Completed introductory courses in IT security and/or automotive engineering.
• Fluent in English and proficient in German, Japanese or Chinese at B2 level.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Programming knowledge in C, C++ or Python.
• Experience with security testing tools, specifically GitLeaks.
• Ability to conduct security analyses and develop security concepts.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management processes.
