Working Student – Mission Systems (Computer Vision)

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a motivated working student to join its Computer Vision team in Manching. The role starts in July 2026, lasts 12 months, and involves approximately 18 hours of work per week while you continue your studies.

Key responsibilities

• Support the training of vision AI models.
• Benchmark and optimise existing computer‑vision solutions.
• Research state‑of‑the‑art vision technologies and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Enrolled full‑time student in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related field.
• Fluent in German or English.
• Willingness to provide a cover letter, CV, transcripts and enrollment certificate.

Required skills

• Python programming (mandatory).
• C/C++ or Java programming (desirable).
• Drone piloting licence A1/A3 (desirable).
