Working Student – Software Development for eBike Cloud Services

About the role

We are looking for a motivated working student to join our agile team in Berlin and contribute to the development of cloud services for the Bosch eBike Flow app. You will gain hands‑on experience building and improving digital solutions that connect thousands of eBikes worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud‑based services supporting the eBike Flow application.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, including coding, unit testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with team members to design prototypes or proofs of concept, potentially including web or mobile front‑ends.
• Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing existing services.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a university program in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Strong communicator who works well in a collaborative, problem‑solving environment.
• On‑site presence in Berlin is required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and basic knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
