Working Student Software Engineer – Python

About the role

Avelios is looking for a motivated working student to join its software engineering team. You will help build and maintain Python‑based deployment and data‑seeding services that prepare the company’s healthcare platform for real‑world clinical use.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Python deployment, configuration and AI endpoint services within a micro‑service architecture.
• Develop, test and continuously improve scripts for environment setup, clinical data population and AI pipeline validation.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, DevOps specialists and domain experts to translate clinical requirements into scalable backend logic.
• Ensure deployment components are reliable, secure and reproducible across environments.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
• Practical experience with Python, Java and Docker.
• Demonstrated project work, e.g., personal or collaborative projects on GitHub.
• Passion for learning new technologies and a proactive, independent working style.
• Fluent in English.
