Audit Assistant – Direct Client Contact & Fast Development

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Audit Assistant to join our client’s audit team in Düsseldorf. This full‑time position offers you the chance to work on statutory financial statement audits from day one, develop professional expertise, and collaborate closely with experienced auditors and client contacts.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in conducting annual financial statement audits in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
• Support the analysis and assessment of business processes and internal control systems.
• Prepare, structure, and evaluate audit documentation.
• Work closely with senior auditors and client representatives throughout the audit process.
• Document audit findings and help draft audit reports.

Required profile

• Successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field; focus on accounting, taxation or auditing is a plus.
• Initial practical experience through internships, working‑student positions or commercial training is beneficial, but strong motivation is essential.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn and a desire for professional development.
• Enjoy teamwork while taking independent responsibility.
• Very good German and English language skills.
