About the role
MORO TECH is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to accelerate growth by building strong customer relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and supporting the full sales lifecycle. The role sits at the intersection of sales, consulting, and customer success, requiring commercial acumen, technical understanding, and cross‑cultural communication.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain long‑lasting relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Identify and develop new customers while expanding business with existing accounts.
- Follow up on leads and act as the main point of contact for designated accounts.
- Increase sales revenue and profitability, meeting or exceeding targets and budgets.
- Meet clients, prospects, partners, and affiliates both on‑site and remotely.
- Understand client requirements and develop tailor‑made, replicable, and scalable proposals.
- Lead customer‑related activities and oversee account performance end‑to‑end.
- Support the AM/Pre‑Sales team in business expansion and coach junior team members.
- Proactively suggest new projects and explore opportunities in new markets.
Required profile
- 5‑8 years of experience in consulting, pre‑sales, or sales within the IT industry.
- Proven experience in pre‑sales, account management, or customer success roles.
- Experience in the automotive industry or large industrial conglomerates is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of EU legislation and best practices related to Data and AI Security.
- Strong project‑management experience using relevant tools and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross‑cultural, international environments.
- Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an asset.
