CAE Analysis Engineer – Strength & Durability

About the role

As a CAE Analysis Engineer you will support the development of next‑generation vehicle architectures by creating and optimizing strength and durability models. You will work closely with vehicle, test and manufacturing teams in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop finite element models for strength and durability analysis of BIW, closures, chassis, exteriors, interiors and other subsystems.
• Use CAE tools to optimize performance, evaluate manufacturing, assembly and service feasibility.
• Collaborate with test engineering to develop test plans, correlate simulation results and improve predictive accuracy.
• Support root‑cause investigations of production and performance issues.
• Prepare concise management summaries and reports.
• Question and improve existing CAE methods and processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with strong theoretical knowledge of finite element analysis and continuum mechanics.
• Deep understanding of mechanics of materials, especially durability and fatigue of metals, plastics and composites.
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects under tight deadlines.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated and able to work effectively in a diverse team.

Required skills

• Experience with CAE pre‑processors, solvers and post‑processors such as ANSA, META, Abaqus, LS‑DYNA (Implicit) and nCode.
• Solid grasp of durability/fatigue analysis, heat transfer, vibrations, controls and fluid dynamics.
