Chemical Operator / Plant Operator – Production Employee

About the role

Join a leading manufacturer of superabsorbents and acrylic acid at the Rheinmünster site. As a Chemical Operator you will work on continuous production lines, ensuring safe and efficient operation of plant equipment while contributing to high‑quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Produce superabsorbent materials, including preparation and packaging solutions.
• Operate, monitor, and control production facilities on alternating shifts.
• Diagnose and resolve malfunctions, document incidents in the shift log.
• Perform safe start‑up and shutdown of systems and ensure overall plant safety.
• Conduct plant inspections, unload raw materials, and carry out simple maintenance and repairs.
• Participate in test runs, special projects, shutdown work, and the plant fire department.

Required profile

• Completed training as a chemical technician or comparable technical qualification (e.g., process mechanic, plant mechanic).
• Knowledge of operation and control of production facilities.
• Willingness to work shifts with a high level of quality and safety awareness.
• Independent, solution‑oriented work style and strong team communication.
• Preferably certified to wear respiratory protection equipment (G26/3).
