Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – B2B SaaS, Dubai

About the role

This hands‑on executive position leads the technology function of a fast‑growing B2B SaaS company relocating to Dubai. You will shape the platform’s long‑term vision, drive AI adoption, and ensure engineering excellence across a multi‑disciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the technology strategy and engineering roadmap.
• Architect cloud‑native, micro‑services platforms and oversee their scalability and reliability.
• Lead AI‑first engineering practices, including AI‑assisted development, testing and automation.
• Own cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, governance and compliance frameworks.
• Build and mentor high‑performing engineering, DevOps, platform and data teams across locations.
• Manage technology budgets, vendor relationships and strategic investments.
• Act as a senior technology advisor to the executive team, board and investors.

Required profile

• 15+ years leading engineering organisations (CTO, VP of Engineering, Head of Engineering).
• Proven track record scaling complex SaaS or platform businesses.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate technology strategy into business outcomes.
• Experience managing large, geographically distributed teams.
