Country Director – France

About the role

As the Country Director for France at air up, you will act as the entrepreneurial owner of one of the company’s most dynamic markets. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the commercial strategy across retail, direct‑to‑consumer and marketplace channels while ensuring the brand’s disruptive innovation reaches French consumers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full P&L for France, driving revenue, profitability and the omnichannel mix.
• Define and implement the local market strategy, identify key retail partners, allocate resources and manage media spend.
• Lead a lean, high‑performing team, overseeing Sales (Key Account Managers) and the local Marketing Director.
• Work closely with the Marketing Director to align commercial objectives with brand initiatives.
• Engage directly with retail accounts, pitch opportunities and scale key partnerships on the ground.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior commercial leadership with full P&L responsibility.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to act as a business owner.
• Hands‑on retail expertise and a track record of winning and growing key accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams.
• Excellent partnership skills to collaborate closely with marketing functions.
