About the role

We are looking for a motivated mid‑level Finanz‑/Bilanzbuchhalter:in to join our fast‑growing finance team. You will work closely with product and client teams to ensure accurate bookkeeping and support the continuous improvement of our digital accounting tools.

Key responsibilities

• Review automated booking suggestions and fill in missing information.
• Assist in preparing profit‑and‑loss reports, VAT pre‑filings, and annual closing documents.
• Serve as a clear, friendly point of contact for client inquiries.
• Collaborate with the product team to enhance our software.
• Document internal processes and propose efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Formal education or certification in accounting (e.g., Bilanzbuchhalter:in).
• At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a digital or fast‑growing environment.
• Strong, structured, and solution‑oriented work style.
• Tech‑savvy with curiosity for digital tools.
• German language proficiency at C1 level; English is a plus.
