About the role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial leader to own a high‑growth retail and grocery portfolio across the DACH region. The role sits at the intersection of technology, retail and e‑commerce, leading strategic partnerships with influential retailers and consumer brands while driving commercial growth and market strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop strategic commercial partnerships across the DACH retail and grocery landscape.
- Define and execute market growth strategies that drive revenue, customer acquisition and market expansion.
- Manage, mentor and develop a high‑performing commercial team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Identify new business opportunities and negotiate complex commercial agreements with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative solutions and ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Drive forecasting, pipeline management and performance reporting to achieve commercial objectives.
- Act as a market expert and thought leader within the retail and quick‑commerce ecosystem.
Required profile
- Commercially driven leader with a strong track record of building strategic partnerships and delivering measurable business growth.
- 6+ years of experience in sales, commercial partnerships, business development or a related commercial function.
- At least 3 years of experience leading and developing successful commercial or sales teams.
- Strong understanding of the retail landscape across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
- Proven ability to create and execute commercial strategies that deliver revenue growth.
- Experience operating effectively within large, matrixed organisations.
