Industrial Engineer VIE – 12 months (Friedrichsdorf, Germany)

About the role

Valeo is seeking a motivated Industrial Engineer for a 12‑month VIE assignment at its Friedrichsdorf site in Germany. You will support the industrialisation of new and serial projects within the assembly area, contributing to the development of autonomous and connected vehicle technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the industrialisation of new and serial production projects in the assembly area.
• Improve production efficiency and machine robustness within your scope.
• Capture and share industrial process know‑how across the team.
• Manage cost and timing follow‑up for new equipment and production lines.
• Define specifications, design, validate, and oversee pre‑acceptance and acceptance of equipment for serial production.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience in Industrial Engineering, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• International mindset, openness to new cultures and ways of working.
• Professional attitude with humility, listening skills, and diplomatic sense.
