About the role
The Key Account Manager will drive sustainable growth across strategic key accounts and specialized healthcare centres in Germany. Acting as the main link between the company and healthcare stakeholders, you will ensure optimal access to therapies while improving patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow assigned key accounts, aligning with national and brand strategies.
- Achieve sales targets within designated therapeutic areas.
- Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans.
- Build long‑term relationships with healthcare professionals and decision‑makers.
- Analyse patient pathways to identify access barriers and improve treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with medical, market access and cross‑functional teams.
- Leverage CRM systems, dashboards and data insights for decision‑making.
- Support omnichannel engagement initiatives and local projects while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Required profile
- University degree in a scientific, medical or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven success as a Sales Representative or Key Account Manager.
- Strong understanding of the German healthcare ecosystem.
- Fluency in German and good command of English.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally in a matrix organisation.
