Management Candidate Graduate Programme – Germany

About the role

Join UNIQLO’s 12‑month Management Candidate (UMC) Graduate Programme in Germany and fast‑track your career in retail leadership. You will start on the shop floor, rotate through supervisory and business‑driving responsibilities, and work directly with store managers to shape the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Months 1‑4: Serve as a sales associate, handling customer service, fitting rooms, deliveries, replenishment, checkout and omni‑channel services.
• Months 5‑6: Act as a supervisor, managing daily schedules, training teammates, and owning a product category’s sales performance.
• Months 7‑12: Partner with the Store Manager on store layout optimisation, staff development, audits, weekly scheduling, inventory control and KPI monitoring.
• Participate in crisis handling, problem‑solving and delivering high‑quality customer experiences.
• Attend business workshops with senior leaders and a European leadership convention.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or final‑year student eager to start a career in retail.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and resilience.
• Excellent communication and people‑management abilities.
• Willingness to relocate within Germany if required for development.
