Onsite IT Support Engineer – Berlin

About the role

The Onsite IT Support Engineer will deliver hands‑on technical assistance to end users at client offices in Berlin. Working from the IT Lounge and walk‑in centre, you will ensure smooth daily operations by handling deskside incidents, device provisioning, and network connectivity issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite deskside support for laptops, desktops, peripherals and workplace devices, logging all activities in ServiceNow.
• Act as first point of contact at the IT Lounge, handling hardware swaps, MFA assistance, and meeting‑room AV checks.
• Support macOS and mobile endpoints through Enterprise Mobility Services, Azure AD registration and Microsoft Intune enrollment.
• Execute IMACD tasks – install, move, add, change, delete – including imaging, staging and data migration.
• Perform basic LAN/Wi‑Fi patching, de‑patching and troubleshooting of access points and meeting‑room connectivity.
• Maintain asset records and CMDB entries in ServiceNow, manage stockroom inventory and provide backup coverage for nearby sites.

Required profile

• Proven experience in onsite desktop/deskside support for Windows and macOS environments.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Mobility Services, Azure AD and Microsoft Intune.
• Understanding of ServiceNow and ITSM processes.
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN/Wi‑Fi) and ability to perform cable checks.
• Strong customer‑facing communication skills and ability to work independently onsite.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in the local language.
