Outbound Team Leader

About the role

The Outbound Team Leader will oversee the end‑to‑end outbound process in a fast‑paced logistics environment. You will coordinate picking, packing and shipment preparation while ensuring high accuracy and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead outbound personnel and manage daily picking and packing operations.
• Develop and monitor Just‑In‑Time wave planning and system‑based task allocation.
• Track real‑time outbound workflows, resolve exceptions, and coordinate with couriers for smooth handover.
• Analyse outbound metrics such as labor productivity and accuracy to optimise workflows and storage layouts.
• Implement standardised procedures to reduce errors and improve space utilisation.
• Conduct training programmes for picking and packing skills and enforce safety protocols.
• Collaborate with logistics, customer service and other cross‑functional teams to align inventory and order fulfilment.
• Prepare regular reports on outbound performance and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading outbound or warehouse teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret operational data.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑changing environment.
