Packaging Designer / Artworker (Fixed-term, 1 year)

About the role

KoRo is seeking a hands‑on Packaging Designer / Artworker to join its creative team on a 1‑year fixed‑term contract. You will blend creative concepts with technical execution, turning product ideas into compelling packaging that stands out on shelves and across digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Create new packaging designs and adapt existing ones within the brand’s design system.
• Retouch product photography and prepare clean, print‑ready files, including Flexo specifications.
• Produce high‑quality digital packshots for use in marketing and e‑commerce.
• Identify and resolve printing or production issues together with internal and external partners.
• Maintain visual consistency and high quality across all packaging assets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in packaging design or a similar role.
• Proficient with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, strong retouching and artwork production skills.
• Solid understanding of printing techniques, especially Flexo, for both raster and vector graphics.
• Excellent eye for layout, detail, and visual consistency.
• Advanced, efficient personal design workflow and proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate.
