Regional Lead Maintenance & Repair

About the role

As Regional Lead Maintenance & Repair you will be a key member of the Market Leadership Team, reporting to the Head of Maintenance & Repair. You will oversee regional technicians and damage control managers, ensuring high‑quality, cost‑efficient repairs and strong vehicle availability across Southern Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Own the M&R budget and drive cost‑efficient, high‑quality repairs.
• Define repair strategies per vehicle based on damage reports and operational priorities.
• Coordinate workshop capacity, scheduling and spare‑parts flow to maintain vehicle availability.
• Build and optimise the internal and external workshop network to improve turnaround times.
• Lead and develop station repair teams, ensuring consistent performance and technical capability.
• Track KPIs such as repair cost, repair time and damage detection accuracy for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree or apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in fleet maintenance, repair or workshop management.
• 2+ years of direct people‑management experience in a technical/operational environment.
• Strong analytical and budgeting skills with a focus on efficiency and quality.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Willingness to travel across multiple sites and external vendors.
