Senior Management Accountant – Hybrid (Frankfurt)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join our Frankfurt office on a hybrid basis. The role will support the financial management of one or more regions, delivering high‑quality reporting, analysis and insight to drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts with variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year.
• Maintain balance‑sheet integrity through reconciliations and review of key accounts.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring deadlines and reporting standards are met.
• Partner with commercial and operational teams to provide financial analysis, challenge assumptions and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, track performance against KPIs and support improvement initiatives.
• Assist with external and internal audits, ensure compliance with local statutory obligations and group finance policies.
• Act as a trusted resource for junior colleagues, sharing knowledge and ensuring high‑quality team outputs.
• Identify and resolve complex financial and operational issues, driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proactive, commercially‑minded finance professional with several years of experience in management accounting.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently in a multi‑entity environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain rigorous financial controls.
