SEO/Digital Marketing Expert - Remote

About the role

We are looking for an SEO/Digital Marketing Subject Matter Expert to work remotely on an hourly contract basis. You will review AI‑generated SEO and marketing outputs, create high‑quality digital marketing content, and provide detailed feedback to improve AI model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content such as prompts, content briefs, strategy notes, and optimization analyses.
• Evaluate and rank AI‑generated responses for intent match, accuracy, clarity and practical applicability.
• Identify and correct issues related to search intent, keyword strategy, on‑page and technical SEO, content structure, measurement and compliance.
• Fact‑check information, write clear explanations and model outputs that demonstrate best practices.
• Collaborate with the AI data services team to continuously improve training data quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in SEO and/or digital marketing (in‑house, agency or consultancy).
• Strong command of SEO fundamentals and technical SEO concepts.
• Proficiency with analytics tools (GA4, Search Console) and measurement methodologies.
• Excellent written English (minimum C1) and meticulous attention to detail.
• Self‑directed, reliable and able to work across time zones.
• Experience with AI data training, editorial QA or performance‑marketing review is a plus.

Required skills

• Keyword research, intent mapping, information architecture, internal linking, content briefs, SERP analysis.
• Technical SEO: crawl/indexation, canonicalization, redirects, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals, schema markup.
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, dashboard creation, experiment design, attribution analysis.
• English proficiency (C1).
