Supply Chain Director (Demand & Supply Planning)

About the role

As the Supply Chain Director at Redcare Pharmacy, you will lead demand and supply planning for the company’s e‑pharmacy operations across multiple warehouses and sales channels. Based in Sevenum, near Venlo, you will ensure products are available at the right time and place, driving efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end demand and supply planning, delivering accurate forecasts and optimal inventory levels across all markets.
• Minimise out‑of‑stock risks, improve stock rotation and manage forced purchases to enhance inventory performance.
• Implement and continuously improve data‑driven forecasting and planning processes.
• Manage supplier relationships to secure continuity of supply and mitigate risks.
• Lead a team of 5 direct reports and approximately 35 indirect colleagues, fostering capability building and high performance.
• Collaborate with Commercial Operations, Category Management, Strategic Procurement, Logistics and Pharma Operations to align demand, supply and warehouse capacity.
• Engage with senior leadership to define planning strategies, performance targets and business priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, forecasting or inventory management.
• Proven ability to analyse planning and inventory data to drive decisions.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing direct and indirect teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
