Tax Advisor – Global Tax Team

About the role

Join the dynamic Group Tax Team of Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH as a Tax Advisor. You will provide global tax advice to our portfolio companies, supporting projects such as reorganisations, M&A, and transfer‑pricing documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver strategic tax advice for Haniel and all its entities.
• Act as a business partner to stakeholders and portfolio companies, offering proactive tax guidance.
• Collaborate with tax team members on compliance matters.
• Advise on restructurings, M&A transactions and other cross‑border tax projects.
• Monitor and communicate relevant tax law developments.
• Manage tax audits and interact with tax authorities.
• Support group‑wide Transfer Pricing, Country‑by‑Country Reporting (CbCR) and Pillar 2 processes.
• Coordinate with third‑party advisors and internal functions such as Accounting, Legal and Treasury.

Required profile

• University degree (Bachelor or Master) in tax law or a related finance discipline.
• German Steuerberater qualification.
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in tax advisory, preferably within a corporate or international setting.
