Vice President Finance

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing private‑equity backed SaaS platform in Germany, is seeking a Vice President Finance to act as a strategic partner to the CFO, CEO and investors. The role sits at the centre of commercial decision‑making, value creation and M&A activity, influencing the company’s growth trajectory.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CFO, CEO and Board on strategic planning, financial modelling, scenario analysis and long‑range planning to support growth initiatives.
• Lead evaluation of acquisition opportunities across Europe, including financial due diligence, valuation, deal structuring and business case development.
• Drive post‑deal integration, financial consolidation, KPI framework implementation and synergy measurement.
• Oversee group performance management, monitor key SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, churn, CAC) and provide actionable insights to business leaders.

Required profile

• Experience in strategic finance, FP&A, corporate development, transaction services or finance transformation.
• Background in a SaaS, technology or high‑growth private‑equity environment preferred.
• Proven exposure to M&A transactions, integrations or buy‑and‑build programmes.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial setting with direct exposure to senior leadership and investors.
• Fluent English required; German beneficial but not essential.
