About the role
Tourlane is looking for a People Operations Specialist to own the monthly German payroll, support payroll in France and the US, and drive HR operational excellence across a fast‑scaling international environment.
Key responsibilities
- Execute end‑to‑end German payroll each month and provide coverage for France and US payrolls.
- Manage the HR ticketing system, handling employee requests and complex cases.
- Lead company‑wide onboarding in partnership with HR stakeholders.
- Support employees in Germany, France and the US, with primary focus on Germany.
- Utilise advanced HR‑Finance tools, continuously building expertise.
- Identify and implement process‑improvement and automation initiatives.
Required profile
- Hands‑on experience running German payroll in a high‑volume setting.
- Background in HR within a start‑up or scale‑up environment.
- Fluent in German and English with strong written and verbal communication.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high sense of ownership.
- Proactive, collaborative communicator comfortable working with diverse stakeholders.
