Software Engineer

About the role

Join JD.com’s global technology team and help build the backend systems that power Joybuy, the company’s international e‑commerce platform. You will work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment that values ownership, high‑quality delivery, and continuous learning.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance, secure, and scalable backend services for Joybuy.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring systems are monitorable, maintainable, and support safe roll‑backs.
• Research, adopt, and promote new technologies and methodologies to improve system architecture.
• Explore integration opportunities between emerging technologies and global system architectures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a passion for clean, elegant code.
• Effective communication skills in both Chinese and English.
