Workspace & Culture Manager (28-40h/week)

About the role

Planet A Foods is a food‑tech startup developing sustainable, cocoa‑free chocolate and other ingredients. We are looking for a Workspace & Culture Manager to own the day‑to‑day operations of our Planegg site and nurture a vibrant, collaborative culture for our 75‑person, cross‑border team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Planegg workspace (≈50 workstations), overseeing vendor relations, supplies, seating plans and spatial layout as the company grows.
• Design and deliver culture‑building initiatives, including major events (e.g., Summer Party) and regular formats such as Focus Days for teams in Germany and the Czech Republic.
• Coordinate company‑wide rituals – Townhalls, All‑Hands, OKR updates – ensuring smooth scheduling and alignment.
• Support People operations by handling onboarding logistics, employee merchandise, and preparatory accounting for benefits.
• Bridge to IT by managing hardware assets for new hires and implementing digital tools to automate manual admin tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience independently managing office space, operations or HR support, preferably in a fast‑moving startup or scale‑up.
• Proven ability to act as a cultural bridge between locations (Germany and Czech Republic), tailoring engagement initiatives while fostering a unified culture.
• Strong organisational mindset combined with creativity to design events for 50+ participants and keep processes immaculate.
• Cost‑conscious decision‑making with a focus on scalable, strategic solutions.
