Accountant – General Ledger & Reporting

About the role

Crane Worldwide Logistics is seeking an Accountant to oversee the general ledgers of five European entities (Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Poland). The role ensures the integrity of income statements and balance sheets while supporting the broader finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable, including invoice sorting, approval coordination, and timely payments.
• Handle accounts receivable tasks such as credit note computation and customer credit checks.
• Administer assets, including activation, disposals, and depreciation.
• Prepare and review monthly journal entries, month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Perform VAT calculations and filings on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Conduct balance‑sheet reconciliations, bad‑debt allowance calculations, and monthly reporting in OneStream.
• Support annual audits and ad‑hoc financial analyses.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of general accounting experience.
• Proficiency with ten‑key calculator operations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with OneStream reporting software.
