Finance System Manager – IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)

About the role

As a Finance System Manager you will lead the development, stability and continuous improvement of the IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) ecosystem, enabling reliable planning, reporting and data‑driven decision‑making across the organisation. You will work within the Group Finance Solutions department, collaborating with international stakeholders, corporate controllers and financial analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day management, administration, monitoring and optimisation of the TM1 system landscape, including server administration and issue resolution.
• Translate complex global business requirements into scalable technical solutions and design, build and enhance TM1 cubes, dimensions, rules and TurboIntegrator processes.
• Develop intuitive user interfaces and ensure robust data integrations between TM1 and key corporate systems.
• Provide end‑user support, training and documentation while establishing best practices and governance standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in finance systems, financial planning or consulting environments.
• Solid understanding of FP&A and accounting processes in a corporate setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and/or German.

Required skills

• IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) – multidimensional data modelling, TurboIntegrator (TI) and MDX.
• Relational database concepts.
• Experience with other planning solutions such as Anaplan or Lucanet (advantage).
