Agency Director (DACH) – Global Business Solutions

About the role

The Agency Director will lead TikTok’s Agency Partnership team for the DACH region, building long‑term relationships with top media agencies and brands. You will drive revenue growth, enable agencies with TikTok’s advertising solutions, and represent the company at key industry events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic, sustainable partnerships with key agency partners across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
• Identify incremental spend opportunities and remove blockers across the agency book of business.
• Negotiate and execute agency trading agreements in close collaboration with the Head of Trading.
• Hold agencies accountable for revenue targets and support advertiser sales teams in resolving issues.
• Design and launch enablement programs covering marketing, measurement, insights, upskilling and intelligence sharing.
• Establish media and beyond‑media strategic partnerships and help agencies create new revenue streams using TikTok services.
• Identify and manage ecosystem partners that can accelerate TikTok’s growth in the region.
• Lead people management activities including recruitment, talent development, organisational change and performance management.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in media, advertising or digital programmatic sales.
• Strong C‑level network within major advertising holding companies and deep familiarity with the DACH agency ecosystem.
• Proven track record of leading sales teams to exceed revenue goals.
• Business‑level fluency in German and English.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in complex matrixed environments.
• Existing relationships with Big 6 and major independent agencies in DACH (preferred).
• Self‑starter attitude, fast learner and ability to thrive in a start‑up‑like environment (preferred).
