Area Manager – Fashion & Footwear (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, NL)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead a portfolio of fashion and footwear stores across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands. The role focuses on driving commercial performance, developing high‑performing store teams and ensuring brand standards are consistently delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of commercial performance of multiple stores, driving sales, profit, conversion and average transaction value.
• Analyse sales reports, market trends and performance data to identify growth opportunities and implement action plans.
• Coach and develop Store Managers, building high‑performing teams and achieving business objectives.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and visual merchandising standards across all locations.
• Lead talent development, succession planning and recruitment to create a pipeline of future retail leaders.
• Conduct regular store visits, performance reviews and business planning meetings.
• Maintain operational compliance, including health & safety, cash management and loss prevention.

Required profile

• Proven track record in fashion, footwear, lifestyle or premium retail environments.
• Experience managing multiple stores across different locations.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and people development capabilities.
• Passion for fashion and footwear and understanding of customer expectations.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the region.
