Associate – Corporate Development (M&A)

About the role

As an Associate in Corporate Development you will partner with product, finance, legal and country teams to manage the full M&A lifecycle across Germany, France and Belgium. You will identify targets, build investment theses, lead due diligence and support post‑close integration and KPI tracking.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market trends, competitors and investment opportunities in the prop‑tech sector.
• Develop investment cases, market assessments and detailed financial models.
• Prepare presentations, investment memos and decision‑making materials for the Investment Committee.
• Coordinate due‑diligence activities with internal teams and external advisors.
• Identify business opportunities, risks and value‑creation initiatives.
• Support negotiations, transaction processes and deal execution.
• Assist with post‑merger integration planning and KPI tracking.
• Build relationships with founders, investors, banks and other stakeholders and represent AVIV at industry events.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, STEM or a related field.
• Relevant experience in investment banking, transaction services, private equity or corporate development.
• Strong analytical depth with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear narratives.
• Entrepreneurial mindset combined with diplomatic negotiation skills.
• Results‑oriented attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
