Business Analyst

About the role

The Business Analyst acts as the key bridge between business stakeholders and software development teams, driving product development through thorough requirements management, process documentation, testing, and Scrum‑based collaboration. The position is based in Potsdam, Germany, offering a hybrid work model and a comprehensive onboarding program.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyse and document new business requirements in close partnership with stakeholders.
• Prioritise requirements against organisational objectives and maintain the product backlog.
• Manage requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support product development by analysing data, translating business processes and providing insights for enhancements.
• Perform functional testing, report defects and coordinate release activities.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, use Jira to manage user stories and ensure smooth cross‑functional collaboration.
• Facilitate clear communication between business users and technical teams, driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Experience working in Scrum/Agile environments.
• Strong ability to translate complex business concepts into clear documentation for technical teams.
