Business Development Manager – Pharma

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our pharma and biopharma client engagements across Germany. The role focuses on driving sales, engineering services, and digital transformation initiatives for pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and account plans for a portfolio of pharmaceutical customers.
• Provide professional services and engineering deployments, including facility design, qualification, and commissioning.
• Lead digital transformation programs and conduct design‑thinking workshops to identify operational challenges.
• Gather business requirements, define user stories, and ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
• Scope, deliver, and manage engineering services independently.
• Maintain and grow consultative relationships with pharma clients, building a strong network within the sector.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years focused on pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical customers.
• Deep knowledge of pharma process manufacturing, facility design, qualification, and commissioning.
• Strong understanding of GMP compliance, quality risk assessment, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record in sales, account planning, and delivering engineering services.
• Ability to lead digital transformation initiatives and facilitate design‑thinking workshops.
