Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – SaaS & PE-backed Growth

About the role

The company is a market‑leading SaaS provider backed by a pan‑European growth equity investor. Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the Executive Committee, the CFO will own the finance function, partner with the board and private‑equity shareholders, and drive the financial strategy for the next phase of international expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO, Executive Team and Board on long‑term business planning and growth strategy, delivering data‑driven financial insight.
• Provide commercial analysis of SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, churn, revenue recognition), pricing, margin control and customer profitability.
• Lead financial due diligence, integration and carve‑out projects supporting the company’s M&A agenda.
• Define the annual budget, monitor performance, and produce regular re‑forecasts.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, lenders and other key advisors.
• Oversee tax compliance across jurisdictions and work with external advisors on international tax structuring.
• Drive ERP review, optimisation and rollout to ensure a scalable finance platform.

Required profile

• Proven CFO experience in a private‑equity environment, preferably within high‑growth B2B SaaS or software businesses.
• Deep understanding of the SaaS business model, recurring revenue dynamics and key performance metrics.
• Commercially minded strategic partner capable of influencing senior leadership, not just a financial controller.
• Track record of leading M&A activities, integration and carve‑out projects.
