Chief of Staff

About the role

Almedia is looking for a hands‑on Chief of Staff to ensure the entire organisation operates at a consistently high standard. You will partner closely with senior leaders, translate company values into daily practices, and create clear growth pathways for every team.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and communicate performance expectations across all departments.
• Design and implement clear progression frameworks with department leads.
• Translate Almedia’s values into everyday rituals, behaviours and operating norms.
• Partner with the senior leadership team to review performance regularly, deliver feedback, and address issues early.
• Oversee bonus, equity and recognition structures to align with performance outcomes.

Required profile

• Experience working at C‑level proximity in a high‑growth startup (100‑300 employees).
• Proven track record of raising standards across multiple teams.
• Strong people instincts; able to build trust quickly and challenge senior stakeholders constructively.
• Hands‑on experience with performance frameworks, levelling systems or compensation design.
• Background in elite environments (e.g., professional sports, military, top‑tier consulting) is a plus.
