Chief Operating Officer (COO) – all genders

About the role

We are looking for a decisive, human‑centred leader to join our international team as Chief Operating Officer. In this role you will partner with the CEO and CCO to shape the strategic direction of our science‑communication brand and ensure sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑create and execute the long‑term strategy for the company.
• Translate vision into clear priorities, initiatives, structures and processes.
• Provide operational leadership across Finance, People & Organization, Production, Product Operations and Social Media.
• Act as a bridge between C‑level executives and senior leadership, guiding teams through change.
• Establish transparent KPI and financial reporting to support data‑driven decisions.
• Anticipate organizational growth and balance resources, priorities and team needs proactively.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a COO or in a comparable operational leadership role, preferably in a creative, video‑production or agency environment.
• Strong disciplinary and functional leadership with a collaborative, coaching‑oriented style.
• High standards, low ego, and the ability to challenge while supporting teams.
• Solution‑oriented, pragmatic mindset with the capacity to bring clarity to complex situations.
