Construction Manager (Process Piping) – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Manager with specialist experience in process‑piping to join a leading high‑tech facilities provider in Leipzig. The role is a 12‑month contract supporting the delivery of high‑purity infrastructure for data‑centre and semiconductor projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the installation of high‑purity piping systems including UPW, DI water, Process Cooling Water, CDA, nitrogen, vacuum and specialty gases such as H₂, Ar, SiH₄, NF₃.
• Ensure all work complies with SEMI standards, high‑purity welding requirements and contamination‑control protocols.
• Review and approve piping isometrics, P&IDs, shop drawings and material submittals.
• Coordinate with tool owners and hook‑up teams to guarantee utility readiness for equipment installation.
• Manage multiple contractors in a fast‑paced, high‑complexity environment.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in process‑piping construction within semiconductor fabs or advanced manufacturing facilities.
• Strong understanding of high‑purity piping, orbital welding and specialty gas systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
