Contract Manager

About the role

The Project Contract Manager will support the Mini Terminal (ETS‑MT) automation project, a €85 million+ CAPEX programme within EUROGATE Group Automation. The role ensures disciplined commercial delivery, contract performance, cost control and milestone management across the automation portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain contract administration records, including deliverables, obligations, notices, risks and governance documentation.
• Support procurement activities such as contract formation, commercial clarifications and alignment with procurement strategies.
• Monitor supplier performance against contractual milestones, acceptance criteria and agreed performance measures.
• Work with Finance/Controlling to reconcile budget, committed values, spend to date and monthly accruals.
• Verify invoicing aligns with contractual milestones, acceptance criteria and approved committed values.
• Manage contract change processes, assessing commercial impact and escalating as required.
• Support claims avoidance through accurate records, timely issue identification and structured performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with technical, procurement and finance stakeholders to ensure consistent contract interpretation and controlled commercial communication.
• Prepare commercial and performance reports for project and programme governance forums, including forward‑looking risk and exposure information.
• Provide contract strategy input aligned with portfolio‑level approaches and participate in EGA’s contract management forums.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract administration and commercial management within large‑scale projects.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, cost control and financial reconciliation.
• Ability to work closely with legal, technical, finance and vendor teams.
• Excellent analytical skills for performance monitoring, risk assessment and reporting.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
