Controlling Manager

About the role

As a Controlling Manager at Westwing, you will lead the financial closing and review processes across all entities, providing transparency and insight into group‑wide costs. You will work closely with Finance, Business and cross‑functional teams on strategic initiatives such as country expansions, new business models and end‑to‑end reporting optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Own key controlling processes, including annual SG&A budgeting and monthly variance analysis.
• Identify financial risks, flag deviations from plan and propose actionable improvements.
• Partner with stakeholders across functions and countries as a trusted strategic advisor.
• Deliver high‑level financial analyses to support top‑management decision‑making.
• Drive continuous process optimisation, reporting automation and AI adoption for P&L, cash‑flow and balance‑sheet reporting.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in FP&A, controlling or BI/analytics.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a big‑picture view.
• High comfort in fast‑paced environments, managing complex tasks with ownership and agility.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills for senior stakeholders.
