Deskside Support Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Deskside Support Technician to join our IT team in Frankfurt. You will provide end‑to‑end technical assistance for desktop and laptop users, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software and connectivity across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site and remote support for desktop, laptop, printer and peripheral devices.
• Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities and break/fix tasks.
• Manage the full lifecycle of devices: configuration, OS imaging, patching, and vendor hardware replacements.
• Use SCCM, Intune and ServiceNow for asset tracking, ticket resolution and remote assistance.
• Install, update and patch approved software in line with IT policies.
• Support Microsoft Office, Outlook, VPN clients and basic macOS devices.
• Maintain security compliance, antivirus monitoring and desktop policy enforcement.
• Provide VIP support and act as primary onsite contact during critical incidents.
• Assist with Active Directory user account tasks and smart‑hands support.
• Document incidents, hardware inventory and create technical guides.

Required profile

• B2‑level certified proficiency in German and English.
• Helpdesk Support Technician Level 1 experience.
• Full‑time availability (5 days a week) and onsite presence in Frankfurt.
