Director Construction Management (m/f/d)

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Construction Management to lead large EPC projects in the electronic and battery sectors. You will be the primary liaison between corporate management, the client, and the project team, ensuring safe, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Own overall project performance – EHS, financial, schedule, and quality – for complex EPC contracts.
• Represent corporate management on‑site and act as the highest escalation point for client, contractor, and internal teams.
• Maintain strong communication and relationships with the client and report status to senior management.
• Monitor risk identification, develop mitigation plans, and ensure compliance with corporate procedures and standards.
• Define and execute project strategies, motivate the team, and provide guidance to project managers and site personnel.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Extensive experience in semiconductor, battery, or electronics industries with a proven EPC project management track record.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in German and English.
• Deep knowledge of project execution, coordination, and CSA/MEP systems.
• PMI certification is a plus.
