Director of Corporate Affairs – Public Policy

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to head our Corporate Affairs function, representing the company’s political and regulatory interests across European capitals. The role combines strategic public policy work with leadership of a high‑performing public affairs team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute public affairs and policy strategies that support growth, innovation and sustainability.
• Engage with policymakers, government officials and industry stakeholders to represent the organisation’s interests.
• Build and maintain influential relationships with business leaders, industry associations and advocacy groups.
• Advise senior leadership on emerging political, regulatory and industry trends, risks and opportunities.
• Monitor, interpret and communicate legislative developments, translating them into actionable business insights.
• Drive public policy initiatives and advocacy efforts that deliver measurable impact.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Communicate policy positions clearly to internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate with regional business leaders to align public policy priorities with business strategy.
• Lead, mentor and develop the public affairs team.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience managing public affairs or government relations, preferably in agriculture or smart‑technology sectors.
• Proven track record of leading advocacy campaigns and delivering policy wins.
• Strong political acumen and ability to navigate complex European political environments.
• Experience working in fast‑paced, dynamic industries.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
