Document Controller

About the role

Winthrop Technologies is seeking a Document Controller to join a major data centre construction project in Frankfurt. The role supports the fast‑paced site environment by managing all project documentation in line with company standards and the Integrated Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all project documents comply with company standards and the Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Distribute, track and maintain the latest versions of drawings, schedules, specifications, contracts, submittals, RFIs and reports.
• Maintain project registers such as document, RFI, action and issue logs.
• Analyse data from logs, highlight outstanding actions and generate regular status and overdue reports.
• Control document storage, versioning and compliance with document control procedures.
• Liaise with external consultants and contractors to verify documentation standards.
• Support QA, QC and HSE initiatives by assisting with audits and ensuring document‑related compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a site‑based document control role.
• High level of verbal and written English.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong IT proficiency, especially with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with knowledge‑sharing applications is advantageous.
