EASA Licensed Engineer (B1/B2) – Aircraft Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced EASA‑licensed Engineer (B1 or B2) to join a growing aircraft maintenance team in Cologne. The role involves supporting the maintenance and continued airworthiness of a modern fleet within a dynamic aviation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities.
• Certify maintenance tasks in accordance with EASA Part‑145 regulations and company procedures.
• Diagnose and rectify aircraft defects and technical issues.
• Complete all maintenance documentation accurately and promptly.
• Support aircraft turnaround activities to meet operational requirements.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Liaise with maintenance control, engineering management and flight operations teams.

Required profile

• Valid EASA Part‑66 B1 or B2 licence.
• Current type rating on any aircraft.
• Recent hands‑on maintenance experience on the relevant aircraft type.
• Strong knowledge of EASA Part‑145 maintenance requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Right to work in Germany without sponsorship.
• Additional aircraft type ratings (desirable).
• Experience in line or base maintenance environments (desirable).
• Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety and EWIS training (desirable).
• Flexible approach to shift work and operational requirements (desirable).
