Facilities Technician – Hotel Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Facilities Technician to join the engineering team at the Heidelberg Marriott Hotel. The role involves ensuring all technical systems and guest‑room facilities operate smoothly, supporting the hotel’s high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect technical systems in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Perform repair and preventive maintenance on guest rooms, public areas and technical zones.
• Implement Marriott operational standards and contribute to seamless hotel operations.
• Participate in on‑site duty rotations, covering early, late, weekend and public‑holiday shifts as required.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training in a technical trade such as electrician, plumber, painter or carpenter, or equivalent experience.
• Initial professional experience in a similar technical role, preferably within the hotel industry.
• Strong technical knowledge, good German and English communication skills.
• Team‑player with solid organisational abilities, able to multitask and work under pressure.
