Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (Future Head of Controlling)

About the role

This high‑impact position reports directly to the Group CFO of a fast‑growing digital solutions provider in Germany. You will lead core FP&A and controlling activities while preparing to step into the Head of Controlling role within roughly two years.

Key responsibilities

• Lead FP&A and controlling processes across the group.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Act as a business partner to senior stakeholders and business‑unit leaders.
• Collaborate with operational and IT teams on efficiency, process optimisation and harmonisation projects.
• Own operational finance topics and continuously improve related processes.
• Support strategic initiatives and transformation projects.
• Build and enhance reporting structures and decision‑making tools.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of experience in FP&A, controlling or transaction‑related roles.
• Background in consulting with industry exposure or pure corporate finance/controlling.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• High ambition, ownership mentality and desire to grow into a leadership role.
• Full professional fluency in German and English.
