About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller to lead the day‑to‑day accounting and reporting functions for a global manufacturing group based in Germany. The role combines strategic financial guidance with hands‑on operational analysis to support business leaders and drive cost‑efficient planning.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with platform business leaders and accounting teams to provide financial insights and guidance.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and financial analyses to ensure cost efficiency and robust planning.
• Prepare key reports such as Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Operating Reviews and the Annual Operating Plan.
• Develop financial models and projections for revenue, orders, expenses, income and cash flow.
• Analyse plant operating results, identify trends and recommend actionable strategies to senior leadership.
• Drive productivity initiatives, monitor commercial commissions and translate complex financial data into operational roadmaps.

Required profile

• Qualification in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Minimum 4 years of finance and accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Collaborative team player with a strategic mindset.
• Fluent in German and English.
