Founder's Associate – Technical Project Management

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Founder's Associate to work directly with our two founders in Berlin. The role is ideal for someone with a technical background and 1–3 years of experience in top‑tier management consulting, who can scope and manage complex projects and align internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Scope and run high‑priority projects end to end on behalf of the founders across customer pilots, field deployments, internal tooling, and process automation.
• Maintain internal and external alignment, ensuring engineering, commercial, and operations teams follow the same plan while keeping customers, partners, and suppliers informed.
• Hold several complex workstreams in parallel, applying consulting‑level structure, pace, and stakeholder management, and adapt when priorities shift.
• Prepare material for investors, grant programmes, and customers, and support the founders on critical weekly tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• 1–3 years of project‑management experience in a high‑demand, delivery‑focused environment, preferably top‑tier management consulting in Germany.
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems into a concrete plan and deliver under time pressure without a supervising project manager.
• Business‑fluent German (native or near‑native) and interest in heavy‑industry customers.
• Ability to ship working software using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) and sufficient Python and SQL knowledge to review and debug code.
• Valid category B driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites and work around heavy machinery.
• Based in Berlin (or willing to relocate) and comfortable working on‑site in workshops and field environments.
