Freight Logistics Operations Manager

About the role

Seven Senders is looking for a Freight Logistics Operations Manager to lead first‑mile transport operations across Europe. You will own a portfolio of carrier relationships, ensure on‑time deliveries, and continuously improve daily transport flows in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, control, and monitor daily transport deployments to meet punctuality and equipment‑availability KPIs.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal teams, carriers, and external partners regarding volumes, capacities, and schedules.
• Procure ad‑hoc transport capacity during volume spikes, negotiating quickly to keep goods moving.
• Maintain accurate data in the transport management system for reliable decision‑making.
• Identify bottlene‑cks and inefficiencies in first‑mile processes and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or transport operations at a logistics company.
• German language proficiency at B2 level or higher and business‑fluent English.
• Proactive, ownership‑driven attitude with the ability to flag problems early and solve them independently.
• Experience in e‑commerce logistics operations is a plus.
